9:45 Pickup at Pickering Town Centre - South parking lot of Pickering Town Centre off of Pickering Parkway near the lot entrance south of the Bay, W of Glenanna - see bottom of page for map
10:30-11:00 buses arrive at Queen's Park or staging area for walk
11:00 at the latest, walk to Queen's Park
11:15-12:45 speeches interspersed with street theatre, chanting, milling, etc.
12:50 begin loading buses
1:00-1:15 buses leave as they load
What to Wear
We are asking everybody to wear a white shirt or T-shirt to provide some uniformity and a sense of organization
Depending on the expected weather, consider bringing sunscreen, a hat, and if rain is expected, a compact umbrella
Things to Bring
Lots of enthusism
A sign to carry - Signs will be available but if you want to build and bring your own, Click here for instructions on how to make one and suggested slogans.
A lunch or snack - make it garbageless - we have to practice what we preach - set a good example
Water - please no disposable plastic bottles
